At Skuma Timber, we offer a range of high quality planed, loglap cladding. Our softwood loglap is manufactured from a saw falling whitewood. Thinner profiles of softwood cladding are commonly used to make sheds and summer houses. Thicker profiles are used more in garden buildings, stables and log cabins.
Our timber cladding is supplied untreated so when using cladding externally we recommend you opt for an oil based treated option.
The boards are machined with a Tongue & Groove joint to allow adjoining boards to interlock but still allow some movement which may occur when timber responds to different moisture levels
Softwood is a popular choice thanks to its adaptability and great value. It can be used for a range of interiors and offers a clean, looking finish.
