We’ll refund unused items returned within 28 days of delivery. Items must be in their original, unused condition. We also accept returns on faulty items or anything that arrives damaged in transit. Used items or anything damaged after delivery won’t be accepted.
Bespoke and custom-cut items can’t be returned as standard, as they’re made to order. If there’s an issue with your order, contact the team and we’ll work out the best way to resolve it.
We accept payment online by card. For phone orders, the team will take payment over the phone. If you’re a regular trade customer and want to discuss a trade account, give us a call.
Prices on the website are shown both ex-VAT and inc-VAT. All invoices show VAT separately. If you’re ever unsure, call us and we’ll confirm the full price before you order.

Yes. We cut timber to size in-branch. Bring in your measurements or order online with your required dimensions, and our team will cut it for you. No advance booking needed for standard cuts.
Yes. The majority of our construction-grade timber is sourced from responsibly managed forests and carries FSC® certification. If you need certified timber for a specific job, just ask and we’ll point you in the right direction.
Treated timber has been pressure-treated with preservative to resist rot, moisture and insect damage. It’s the right choice for outdoor use, groundwork and any application where the timber might get wet, such as decking joists, fence posts or external framing. Untreated timber is fine for internal use where it stays dry, such as studwork, joinery and internal carcassing. If you’re not sure which you need for the job, speak to someone at the counter, and we’ll give you a straight answer.
Yes. We carry a full range of sheet materials, including hardwood plywood, softwood plywood, marine ply, OSB, MDF, moisture-resistant MDF and chipboard flooring. Sheets are available in standard 8×4 sizes and we can cut to size in-branch.

We deliver within a 65-mile radius of our Scunthorpe branch using our own in-house delivery team. We don’t use third-party couriers. If you’re unsure whether we cover your postcode, give us a call on 01724 844441.
No. We only use our own in-house delivery team. That means the people handling your timber are our people, and delivery is managed directly by us from start to finish.
In line with industry standards and our insurance policy, we can only deliver to the first nearest hard standing. Our driver won’t be able to move materials to a specific spot on-site, so make sure there’s suitable access and a clear drop-off point ready.

Yes. Our in-house joinery team can fabricate bespoke items to your requirements. This includes things like custom staircase components, window frames and other joinery work that goes beyond a standard cut. Get in touch to discuss your requirements and we’ll give you a quote.
Yes. As well as supplying materials, we have an external joinery and installation team who can fit doors, flooring, staircases and more. If you want the work done as well as the materials supplied, speak to us about what’s involved and we’ll put together a price.
