FAQs
What’s the difference between short grain and long grain?
Short grain means the beads run across the 1220mm width. Long grain would have beads running along the 2440mm length. This version gives you more beads per sheet.
Can I use this in a bathroom?
Yes, the moisture-resistant core handles humid conditions better than standard MDF. Still needs painting to fully seal the surface for wet areas.
How many sheets do I need for my room?
Measure your wall area in square metres and divide by 2.98 (coverage per sheet). Add 10% for cuts and waste.
Can you cut it to size?
Yes, our joinery team cuts any size you need. Bring your measurements or order online with cutting instructions.
What paint should I use over the primer?
Any good-grade emulsion or satinwood works well. The white primer gives you a clean base for any colour.
How do I fix the tongue and groove edges?
Nail through the tongue at 45 degrees so the next board covers the fixings. Use 40mm lost head nails for 9mm boards.
