Description

Treated timber provides a hardwearing, long-lasting solution to your building or structural dilemmas.

Commonly, this process is used on softwood to improve life expectancy and make the timber more resilient to rot, fungus, mould, insect attack and general harsh damp weather conditions. All of our softwood timber has been tanalised treated to UC3 to ensure they are protected for many years.

Each length of renewably sourced treated timber has undergone pressure treatment in which it has been treated with chemical preservatives to maximise the lifespan of each length, this helps to prevent degrading.

Pressure treated timber is ideal for projects requiring timber that is strong, durable and built to withstand the elements.

Designed to last, treated timber is available in a range of lengths and can be cut to size to adapt to your project. These battens are graded to Type A green.
