DOORS & JOINERY

Getting a doorset right means having the door, the frame, the lining, and the right lock. Not just one or two of them. We stock internal doors in oak, pre-finished oak, white primed, and softwood, in solid and glazed styles, alongside door casings and linings in both standard and fire door versions. Hardware includes mortice and euro profile locks in nickel, brass, and satin chrome. Loft ladders are stocked here too. Suitable for new builds, refurbishments, and replacement work.

Why Use Doors and Joinery from a Trade Supplier

Buying doors, frames, and hardware from one supplier saves time on site and reduces the risk of mismatched components. Having the right door frame alongside your internal door, or the correct lock for the door thickness, means fewer return trips and less wasted time.

  • Internal doors are available in oak, white primed, and softwood finishes, in solid and glazed styles, to suit most residential and light commercial applications
  • Oak door casings and oak door linings suit visible joinery work where a hardwood finish is required
  • Softwood door linings and softwood rebated casings are a practical choice for standard residential doorsets where a painted finish is planned
  • Fire door casings and fire door linings are stocked in both oak and softwood, and are needed wherever fire-rated doorsets are required by building regulations
  • Mortice locks and euro profile deadlocks cover most residential security requirements, with options including sashlock, deadlock, and insurance-approved mortice sashlock variants
  • Loft ladders from the Fakro LWK-280 Komfort range are stocked in two hatch sizes, suitable for standard ceiling heights, and feature an insulated trapdoor, handrail, and non-slip treads

Sizes vary by product type. Check individual product listings for door sizes, frame widths, and lock dimensions before ordering.

Doors and Joinery FAQs

What internal door sizes do you stock?

We stock internal doors in standard imperial sizes from 78" x 18" up to 80" x 32", across oak, white primed, and softwood ranges. Check individual product listings for available sizes per style.

What's the difference between a door casing and a door lining?

A door lining is a plain timber frame that fits inside the opening and takes a stop bead. A door casing is a pre-rebated frame with the stop already formed, used where a cleaner finish is needed. Both are available in softwood and oak.

Do I need fire door linings with fire doors?

Yes. Fire doors must be hung in a compatible fire-rated frame or lining to maintain their rating. We stock oak and softwood fire door casings and linings to match our fire door range.

What locks do you stock for internal doors?

We stock mortice sashlocks, mortice deadlocks, euro profile sashlocks and deadlocks, and an insurance-approved mortice sashlock. Available in nickel, polished brass, and satin chrome finishes. Browse our variety of locks and security options.

What loft ladder sizes do you stock?

We stock the Fakro LWK-280 Komfort loft ladder in two hatch opening sizes: 550 x 1100 mm and 600 x 1200 mm. Both are pine construction with an insulated white hatch and are suitable for a range of ceiling heights.
